(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The police arrested a man who attempted to commit a suicide by blowing himself up in a funeral ceremony, security forces said today.
The arrested terrorist was sent to the Baaquba hospital to receive treatment.
The source said to Aswat al-Iraq that the man was carrying an explosive belt to commit the operation in the funeral ceremony, at which a number of police forces were in attendance.
Polices sources said that most of Qaeda members take drugs before committing their suicidal operations.
Baaquba city, the center of Diala province, lies 57 km north east of the capital, Baghdad.
